RELATIVE PRONOUNS


A relative pronoun is a pronoun that introduces a relative clause. It is called a "relative" pronoun because it "relates" to the word that it modifies.

BOOK CLUB MEETING

BOOK CLUB MEETING



We are running a “book club meeting” in 4th!! Here you have the questions you should revise for the debate. Don’t forget to bring something to eat as it will take place at 8 am!

LOVE STORY.-
1.       What is the central idea discussed in the book? What ideas the author explore? Personal, sociological, medical, spiritual…
2.       Do the issues affect your life?
3.       What evidence does the author use to support the book’s ideas?
4.       What kind of language does the author use? Is it objective and dispassionate? Or passionate and earnest?
5.       Talk about specific passages that struck you as significant-or interesting, profound, amusing, disturbing, sad… What was memorable?

6.       What have you learned after reading this book? Has it broadened your perspective about a difficult issue-personal or societal?
